hey guys i managed to get some pictures of cricket played by falcon collage last year to show that there are still some grounds well maintained in the country and that people still want to play cricket and it is great to see blacks and whites playing together
Every time I see a picture of a Zimbabwean private school I get a bit jealous... Try playing cricket at a UK state school on a cigarette-burned, knife-slashed artificial pitch in the middle of a litter-strewn football field and you'd feel the same way . It is in places like Falcon that Zimbabwe became a top-class cricket nation.
I know the schools used to employ very good quality coaches such as Peter Moores the lamented former England HC- what is the standard like in that department these days?
