Opening post

Who would you rather have as coach of Zimbabwe out of of Chawaguta or Mangongo?

I personally would rather have Walter, i know he is not an experienced coach but he did relatively well at the under 19 cricket world cup when he was coach of Zim u/19's at the 2006 u/19 world cup.

I also think Steven Mangongo is a racist towards White people and that showed when he said to Dion Ebrahim "which side do you want to take ours or these racist white people", I personally dont think Chawaguta is a racist.

This is an excerpt from Chawaguta's interview in Zimbabwe Independent:

That destiny was coaching: "I decided early on to go into coaching. I felt there was a gap in coaching on the developmental side of the game. That gap needed to be filled.

"I was also motivated by my own experience. When I was an upcoming player, there was no one other than the development coaches to push me. I felt there was a big void. People like myself, Steve (Mangongo; Board XI coach) and Bruce (Makovah; former selectors chairman) saw the potential in a lot of kids and felt the need to help them get into the system.

How can you turn into a coach just like that? What credentials did they have? How can he be so sure that he was of help to those budding cricketers? There might be people who have faded away because of wrong coaching approach.

As zimdan said, they all s**t. I dont want them either, the only reason we have Walter is because we have no one else. If only BCCI could help us by sending a coach, that would be great.
i wudnt agree less with zimdan, they both a nuts if i can put it in a nicer way

I didn't realise that they were in any rush to appoint anyone as Coach at this time, i thought that Chawaguta was to remain as the temporary post holder for the time being.
