West Indies Cricket needs to set up their road map on longer format cricket. Too many average and inconsistent cricketers in their set up. Great to see Heynes & Sarwan given the job of selection.
Gayles, Bravos, Narines, Russel have destroyed longest format culture in West Indies and have shown the path to the upcomming young players how to earn by playing 20-20 and 10 over cricket and give less or no importance to international cricket

Ireland have pulled off a win. I think the rain effected game helped Ireland. Chasing 228 in 50 overs might have caused them problems.
Nonetheless 10 important points for the Irish.

They were in reasonable control in both games and should have won both. Any decent team would have pocketed 20 points, so 10 is fair for a side like the Irish.

Just about to post that. but at 119-7, they should have been chasing around 150-170 tops. Still 200 ain't a huge chase, but we've seen Ireland bottle some very easy chases in the recent past.

Ya they should have closed it out. I'm also Surprised that despite Odean Smith doing so well with the bat, WI continue to send him at no. 10, thats ridiculous.

Why not ? West Indies in longer format has been below the belt after the rise of T20 cricket. They might have to face more upsets in the comming years, if they fail to inject the importance of odis & test in youths
Irish team has been underrated because of their poor show in ICC Events. They have been doing well in odis now had neck to neck fight with Proteas now beat the West Indies.
Irish team surely be the power house in this decade and its good for World Cricket
