Bangladesh batting doing average against 3rd string side of the Kiwis, clearly showing that the upcomming test matches will be onesided affair

Practice matches don't really mean much. Bangladesh are also under-prepared due to the extra quarantine after Herath tested positive. We were supposed to have a 2 day intra-squad match which got cancelled.

Bangladesh have often batted well in NZ before. We have a number of 400+ totals. We just need the bowlers to bowl well.

Bangladesh is wasting Tanzim Hasan Sakib playing useless under 19 cricket. BCB should have sent him in NZ, BD needs bowlers and they have to take the gamble

Decent start to the match for Bangladesh. Run rate is only 2.5, but they'd have needed another wicket or two. Still tidy bowling can keep them in the game longer than not bowling tidily.

Taskin and Shoriful bowled well. Ebadat needs to cut out the short balls which aren't doing anything on this pitch. Otis Gibson has done a good job with the seamers but he needs to tell them not to bowl short at all in the 2nd session.

Bangladesh will do well if they can keep NZ to around 250-275 by stumps and nip out 5-6 wickets.

Run rate, tight bowling is nothing BD bowlers needs to take wickets to be a force in test cricket.

Is Tamim still opting out? Or still injured?

Target for NZ 450 -500+ in 1st innings and bowl out Bangladesh in for an innings defeat. Plenty for pacers, test might end in 3 days

Bangladesh have done fairly well to pick up 5 wickets, obviously the major point will be how do they bat. Looks very thin thy batting line up. Other than Mominul and Mushfiqur.

Another good day for Bangladesh. They need to push on now and press for a win. Bangladesh have played a brilliant game so far.

Finally Ebadot will be Ebadaat 😂

I haven’t been in the forum much of late, but I had to return to give my old sparring partner Kriterion his dues. I’m sure you’re loving this performance mate, the BD boys performing out of their skins in foreign conditions (although not the worst) against a quality opposition.

What a spell by Ebadot 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Thanks bro!

Games not over yet, though you'd have to wonder how Bangladesh can lose from here.

Yeah unless Taylor & Ravindra can bat out half the day tomorrow I think BD should win. It will be a famous victory & imo their most impressive, more so than their wins over Australia & England.

Bangladesh have very bright future, some of the young players are waiting for debut in form of Tanzid Hasan Afridi, Towrid Hridoy Masrafi, Pervaz Hussain Tamim & Tanzin Hasan Shakib

4 days of good cricket by Bangladesh, one more day and it will be a historic win. Good luck to the Bangladesh boys.

Congratulations to Bangladesh.

Really happy their quickies led the victory.

NZ need to look hard at themselves.

Well done Bangladesh, totally outplayed NZ from Day 1 & in the end it was quite a comprehensive win.

A few guys I’ve been very critical of in the past stepped up & proved they can be effective overseas that being Mominul & Mehidy. Whilst Ebadot was clearly the star with the ball, it was quite the performance for a guy averaging 60 (IIRC) before the test started.

Bangladesh have gone down the India route of identifying & developing fast bowlers that can compete overseas, hopefully this will encourage them to make more balanced pitches at home which I think will further improve the quality of their players in all departments.

Great win and I think we will start to see more overseas wins for Bangladesh as they continue their upward trend in the cricketing world.

Finally Bangladesh showing their worth in WTC. They should'nt leave this opportunity and target for a series win, even a draw will make that possible.

These types of wins will make young Bangladeshi players take up red ball cricket seriously.

Wow! A well-deserved comprehensive victory for BD. What a spell by Ebadot!
